My sister has been living w/ my mother for 10 yrs. Mom has alzheimers. its almost time for a nursing home. We would like to sell the home to my sister and give a gift of equity for 20% of the purchase price. Had my sister not been living w/ mom she would have been in a home 6 yrs ago. Will there be a delay in eligiblity for medicaid for my mother? the remaining 80% of the proceeds of sale would be deposited for moms care. thank you Jackie
